Airport Driving School’s Junior Driving Programme gives young people aged 14 to 17 a safe, supervised and exciting first experience behind the wheel at Navan Adventure Centre. It is ideal for schools, Transition Year groups, youth clubs, sports teams and organised group bookings.
This is an off-road junior driving experience. It is not EDT, not a learner permit course and not public-road driving tuition.

What Is the Junior Driving Programme?

Safe Off-Road Driving at Navan Adventure Centre
The Junior Driving Programme is delivered at Navan Adventure Centre, beside Navan Racecourse. The private training area is designed to give young people a realistic driving experience away from public roads.
The facility includes a private road network with features such as junctions, roundabouts, road signage, road markings and safe closed-off driving zones.
What Students Will Learn

This Is Not Public-Road Driving Tuition
The Junior Driving Programme is an off-road driving experience for young people aged 14 to 17. It takes place in a controlled private facility and is designed as an introduction to driving and road safety.
It is not EDT, not a learner permit course, not a driving test preparation course and not permission to drive on public roads. In Ireland, a standard Category B learner permit is from 17 years of age.
When students become old enough to start normal lessons, Airport Driving School can then help with EDT, manual or automatic lessons, pretest lessons and ordinary learner driver training.
